How We Got Started

The Blue Bug Boilers outdoor cooking system started off primarily as a crawfish boiler, but quickly became an all around cooking system. The tilt basket design eliminated the risk of turning a boiling pot over when taking crawfish out of it. By using the lid as a chute, contents are easily transferred from the cooking pot to another container for serving. 

This unique cooking system is capable of preparing a wide variety of recipes as a boiler, steamer, fryer, wok, gravy and gumbo pot and is perfectly suited for cooking anything from bisque to bengnets, fried turkey to steamed mussels, jambalaya to turtle sauce picante, meatballs and spaghetti to crawfish etoufee, this cooker will certainly make your next cookout a success.
